Moving to London for work: how corporate serviced apartments work
If you are relocating to London for a project, a rotation or a new role, a serviced apartment is usually the bridge between the hotel of week one and the flat you eventually rent. This is how the arrangement normally works.
Why companies use serviced apartments
A furnished apartment with bills, Wi-Fi and housekeeping included can be booked in a day, invoiced to the company, and ended when the assignment ends. There is no tenancy agreement, no deposit protection scheme, no furniture to buy and no utility accounts to close. For a three to six month posting it is almost always simpler and cheaper than a hotel, and far quicker than a private let.

Longer commitments and repeat bookings across the year attract better rates. Extensions are usually possible if the apartment is free, and we will always tell you early if it is not.
